Privacy Policy for SSB Elite

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimal data needed for login functionality and testing purposes:

• Email address or username – Used exclusively for login and user identification.
• Dummy candidate credentials – Test-only accounts created in Firebase Firestore and not linked to real personal information.
• Advertising data (AdMob): Google AdMob may collect device and usage data to serve ads, such as Advertising ID, IP address, app activity, approximate location, and interactions with ads.

2. How We Use the Data

Your data is used strictly for:

• Logging into the app (Firebase Authentication)
• Enabling user-specific app features and access

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, analytics, or third-party sharing.

3. Data Security

All user data is stored on Google Firebase, using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

We implement reasonable security practices to protect against unauthorized access or disclosure.

4. Legal Bases (if you are in the EEA/UK)

• Contract: To provide core app features you request.
• Consent: For personalized ads and certain analytics/ads cookies where applicable. You can give/withdraw consent in the app’s consent dialog (if shown) or via your device settings.
• Legitimate interests: To protect against fraud/abuse and maintain service quality.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob (ads): Used to serve ads. Google may collect and process data in accordance with its policies. See Google Advertising Policy.
• Google Firebase (Auth/DB): Used for authentication and secure storage. See Firebase Privacy & Security.

You can reset or limit the Android Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings (Settings ➜ Google ➜ Ads or equivalent on your device).

6. Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your dummy login account and associated data at any time:

7. Your Choices & Rights

• Access/Correction/Deletion: Contact us to access, update, or delete your data.
• Ads & Consent: Manage ad personalization and consent via the in-app consent dialog (if shown) or your device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

SSB Elite is designed for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from users under 18.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal or operational requirements. Changes will be made available within the app or on this page.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the app or on this page and update the “Effective Date.”

11. International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers outside your country (e.g., by Google). Such processing occurs under appropriate safeguards as provided by those service providers.
